Simply lovely, these earrings are the desirable cushion shaped paste solitaire. Formally cuff buttons, they are now radiant paste earrings with the addition of graceful gold ear wires. The pastes are faceted and foil back, giving the pastes a bright white with hints of honey tones. They were set in hand crimped rub over silver collets, typical of the Georgian period. They measure 5/8 long from the top of the wire to the bottom the the earring x slightly over 3/8 across. The condition is superb. English, circa 1820 |
