| Certainly among the best I have offered, this Victorian sterling bracelet is circa 1880. It is a clever rendition of an actual shirt cuff, replete with the button hole. The design is simple and embellished only with a crosshatching of applied silver. The back is unadorned as was typical of the period. It has a slightly oval shape which allows the bracelet to rest well on the wrist without turning. It measures 7 inches and is 1 1/4 inches wide. It retains a fine patina, is architectural in design, and in near mint condition. The interior has two etched initials. I have only had a few versions of this clever design as they are quite rare to find. English, circa 1880 and beautiful! | |||||||||
