They are very light, weighing 5 dwt. and feel like they are floating on the ear lobe. It is often stated "it's all in the details" and this is a perfect example. Tiny gold balls highlight the ends as if to slightly soften the geometry. The drops are perfectly proportioned to gently sway with every movement. It was certainly designed and executed by a master goldsmith. They measure a long, dramatic 2 1/2 inches from the top of the wire x 3/4 inches across the widest span. Excellent and completely original condition. Sleek, elegant and Victorian, circa 1880.
