| Antique 15k citrine earrings,circa 1880 with finely hand engraved settings. The large lemon colored citrines with hints of honey, are faceted and set in decorative claw mounts. The earrings are most likely Scottish, as the bold citrines and the engraving would perfectly complement brooches and bracelets of this period. They measure 1 3/4 inches long from the top of the wire x 3/4 inches across the widest span. The citrine measures approximately 1/2 inch across x 5/8 down. Both the color of the citrine and the faceting are superb. Finding earrings with the original patina and in excellent condition has become a rarity itself. | ||||||||
