The pyramidal shape has a sculptural, architectural beauty. They were cleverly designed to have the look of substantial weight, but were actually very light. The 15k gold repousse, contrasts perfectly with the textured insets. They measure 3 inches long from the top of the wire x 5/8 across the widest section. The patina is original retaining a rich bloom impossible to duplicate today. The condition is excellent with superior gold work and finishing. The ear wires are new. They are easy to wear and move gracefully on the ear. England, circa 1830
