| This moonstone diamond ring is Victorian, circa 1890. The ring is 18k with a graceful shank having arched shoulders resembling the stem of a flower. The central section has a double ring of small rose cut diamonds surrounding a central clear blue cabachon moonstone. There are 36 rose cut diamonds set in silver, measuring 1 pt- 1.5 points each. The moonstone is finely set in claw mounts, typical of the period of design. The moonstone is clear and blue exhibiting the characteristic of a quality moonstone, adularescence. The use of the rose cut diamonds surrounding the moonstone creates a beautiful ethereal quality. The ring measures a 6 1/4 US. It is all original and in excellent condition.
