| This is a rare Victorian tortoise shell beaded necklace circa 1880. This necklace is long, measuring 28 1/2 inches. The beads range in size from 8mm to 15.5mm. One of the best features is a fantastic Victorian gold clasp(18k) with French touchmarks. The clasp has intricate engraving and has a pyramid shaped tortoise shell center. One bead has a chip and if desired the bead could be removed when it is necessary to restring. This is a rare and lovely necklace. | |||||||||
