The moonstones are all beautifully matched for color and exhibit adularescence, the beautiful sheen characteristic of gem quality moonstones. The necklace measures 15 inches long and terminates in a replaced secure push clasp. The condition is very good, with some wear to the chain and a slight depression in the chain near the clasp. These are not visible and it is acceptable wear. Finding moonstone necklaces and jewelry has become increasingly difficult as the current supply of quality moonstones has greatly been depleted. Clear, blue moonstones are commanding very high prices as most stones mined today are cloudy and included.
