| Antique 14k gold figural turtle pin, circa 1900. This sweet brooch has fine engraving and gold work to simulate the shell of a turtle. The head feet, tail and back are textured as well. There are four sections with jewels, three with small emeralds and one with a central diamond and two garnets. The turtle even wears a collar with a central diamond! The eyes are diamond melee and the four feet articulate. The reverse has the original c-clasp and pinstem. It measures 1 1/4 inches long x 3/4 inches wide. Condition is very good with a rich gold patina. There is a tiny ding on the top near the last band of emeralds closest to the tail visible in the photo. This is a charming, well designed brooch circa 1900. | |||||||
