| This Scottish agate brooch is circa 1860. Most Victorian, Scottish brooches had celtic motifs used for the tartans, and fewer were designed as figurals. This leaf is cleverly designed with all perfectly matched moss agates. There are three agates,each perfectly cut,inlaid and matched for color. The result was simple, elegant and lovely. The condition is excellent, and it is all original including the steel pinstem. It measures 2 1/4 inches down x 1 3/4 inches across. | ||||||||
