| These lovely earrings are Georgian, circa 1800. They are designed with a flower head motif utilizing paste stones that are foiled back and set in fine rub over, hand crimped settings. The paste stones are clear and bright with black dots to simulate the culets of a diamond. Black dot is indicative of early, superior quality paste jewelry. The earrings most likely were Georgian buttons, or studs and have now been converted to earrings. They have gold ear wires and measure 5/8 inches and are in excellent, bright condition. They are wonderful day or evening. | ||||||||
