| These Austro Hungarian circa 1900 earrings are unusual in design. They have a double eagle head motif with deep purple amethyst that are foiled back and accented with natural pearls. The earrings are silver gilt with a rich patina and detailed engraving both front and back. Although unmarked, they have all the design elements of Austro-Hungarian jewelry. They are long and well proportioned, measuring 2 3/4 from the top of the ear wires x 1 inch wide. The condition is excellent and original with the exception of newer ear wires. They are unusual, long and dramatic. | |||||||
