| This ring is Victorian, circa 1890. It is 18k and has a conical cabachon amethyst stone surrounded by beautifully faceted rose cut diamonds. Under magnification the superb quality of the cut of the rose diamonds is observable. The diamonds are set in a silver scalloped millegrain border and are prong set. The amethyst is set in 18k as well as well the shank. The ring is 5 1/4 and can easily be sized. The central mount is 5/8 inches. The condition is excellent. Wonderful! | ||||||||||
