It measures 54 inches long and can be doubled or tripled around the neck. Each oval plaque measures 5 1/8 inches long X 1/4 inches wide. It has a n original attached spring ring enabling it to be joined with a locket or pendant of choice. There are French poincons indicating silver and gold on the end ring.

These long chains are so much in fashion and I was pleased, finding one in its original long length. It is all original and in excellent condition. France, circa 1900
