Ana Maria Nunez de Brilante, used the trade name of Victoria and produced artistic designs from 1940 to 1978 in Taxco. This particular necklace showcases her personal interpretation of Pre-Columbia designs. It measures 15 1/2 inches long X 3/4 inches wide. The reverse is signed with her trade name "Victoria" government mark of 12 in a bell bell and a model number of 142. The necklace is in excellent condition with an original patina. The book Mexican Silver by Morrill and Berk features a chapter on Victoria, page 119. The necklace is easy to wear, as the sections gracefully drape the neck. |
