This Georgian 18k gold, pink topaz ring is dated 1822. It is certainly one of the finest examples of gold work that I have had the privilege to offer. The gold is sculpturally chased, with ornate shoulders of leaves and swirls that are heavily textured. The shoulders are appointed with two small shell motifs adorning either side and completing the beautiful repousse work. These earrings are Georgian, and designed with fine 15k gold cannetille work and appointed with small amethyst stones on the tops and bottoms as well as a pink colored central stone. The gold work is extraordinary, spun like fine thread into a beautiful creation. The earrings measure 2 3/8 long X 4/8 across. They have been professionally re-gilded and the color is rich and quite beautiful. England, circa 1820.
