This bracelet has beautiful rose cut garnets in silver rub over settings centered with fine coq de perles. The alternating sections are with a fine flower motif as the silver work as the silver work is as fine as the iridescense of the coq de perle. The garnets are set in closed backs and foil was placed beneath each stone. The use of foil enhanced the color and gave the beautiful variation of hue so prized in early jewelry. Unusually fine and very beautiful, it is as elegant today as it was ...click for details
