These beautiful sculptured earrings were designed and made in the Taller of Hector Aguilar. They are Pre-Hispanic influence and are beautifully finished. Fully signed with the 1948-1962 mark and an Eagle stamp of 9. They are in excellent ,completely original condition, with a beautiful patina. They measure 1 inch. Wonderful full Margot de Taxco Mexican silver parure. Margot Van Voorhees Carr, was an American designer who moved to Mexcico in the 1930's. She became affectionately known as Margot de Taxco when she opened her own shop in 1948 . She was very successful and her jewelry has garnered collectors worldwide.
