These 14k gold earrings are Victorian, circa 1880. Designed in two sections, the top is repousse with a floral motif centered with a foiled back faceted ruby. The bottom section articulates gracefully with each movement, and has an interesting pyramid shape which is finely engraved and terminates in a faceted foiled back ruby. This gold,rock crystal and garnet pendant is circa 1890. It is designed with a large central faceted rock crystal bezel set in 15k gold and accented with four Hessonite garnets. The garnets, called Hessonite are red, with a rich brown cast. The are set in beautiful ornate bezels as seen in the photos. The pendant measures 2 inches from the top of the bail x 1 1/4 across. The condition is excellent. It is beautiful and dramatic worn on a ribbon or chain.

The snake motif and its symbolism for eternal love became popularized after Albert presented a snake ring to Victoria upon their betrothal. This 15k brooch is circa 1860, and has a coiled snake dangling a heart from its mouth. The reverse of the heart reveals a closed locket with plaited hair. The stones are rich cabachon garnets that are foiled back to reflect light. It measures 2 inches across x 1 7/8 down. It is all original including the c-clasp and t-bar. The condition is excellent.

This French 18k and silver brooch is 19th century. It is referred to in French as " en tremblant" for the movement of the bird created by a spring mechanism on the back. This form of brooch is quite rare to find, and has often been reproduced. This is an original with French touchmarks on the wing, pinstem, and c-clasp. This 15k heart locket is English circa 1890. It is a beautifully executed basket weave motif interspersed with lustrous natural creamy white pearls. The color of the enamel is a rich robin's egg blue and it is in perfect condition. The heart is plump, measuring 5/8 in depth. It measures 7/8 long without the bail x 3/4 across. This ring is Victorian, circa 1890. It is 18k and has a conical cabachon amethyst stone surrounded by beautifully faceted rose cut diamonds. Under magnification the superb quality of the cut of the rose diamonds is observable. The diamonds are set in a silver scalloped millegrain border and are prong set. The amethyst is set in 18k as well as well the shank. The ring is 5 1/4 and can easily be sized. The central mount is 5/8 inches. The condition is excellent. Wonderful!

This lovely 15k brooch is circa 1850. Designed with a central flower formation, there are radiating buds of alternating aqua and garnet. The garnets are rich in color and the pale aqua a perfect foil. There is Etruscan work around the frame and the leaves have a beautiful matte finish. The reverse has a locket and all original mounts. It measures 1 1/2 across x 1 1/4 down and is a perfect size for sweaters or suits. The condition is excellent.
