These antique French garnet earrings are circa 1890. They are Perpignon garnets from the region in France that they are made. Unlike Bohemian garnets so popular at this same period, these have a beautiful mellow color. The cut too, is distinctive as the facets are cut across the entire curving surface, not the typical raised rose cut. This Victorian locket has two sided heart shaped rock crystals set in gold bezels. The top of this lovely locket has a swivel that unscrews enabling the insertion of a single, or double photo. I personally prefer it worn as seen, with just the clear crystals. These long, Victorian, dramatic earrings are English, circa 1860. They are designed with well match banded agates with a desirable dark brown, black and white combination. The agates have been hollowed, as was customary to lighten the weight of the stone and they are delightful on the ear. This bracelet is Victorian, circa 1890. It is quite beautiful as the semi-precious stones were well chosen for color. The stones include sapphires, tourmalines, zircons and spinels. Each stone is hand faceted and set in fine claw mounts typical of the period. The claws are so pretty that they add fine detail from the sides as well as from the top. Sweet pair of 14k Victorian earrings designed with lovely detailed raised gold collets set with bright faceted white pastes. The size is diminutive and lends itself to day or evening wear.
