This sterling and jet bracelet is English, circa 1850. This Victorian bracelet has hand engraved sterling links that are interspersed with finely shaped Whitby jet sections. This form of design was perfected by George Unite and his initials GU, are often signed on the clasps. Although this bracelet is not signed, it is certainly his design.
