This antique Victorian Scottish bracelet is circa 1860. My love of Scottish jewelry is evident. Perhaps it is because the value is in the design and craftsmanship, rather than in the materials. Here is one of the finest examples of this art form. It has a large, bold central element designed as a flower head, centered with a faceted amethyst. The colors of the agates are in total contrast with the amethyst, making it quite striking. The agates themselves have the full range of color indigenous t ...click for details

This cuff bracelet is English, circa 1880. It is more unusual than most, having fine pierced work creating vines, leaves and flowers. The use of multi- colored gold used with silver, became popular when the art of Japan was widely introduced in Europe. Commodore Perry credited with bringing about a trade agreement with Japan also opened the world to Japanese art and culture. In this example the pierced silver work is superb as is the hand engraving. The open work adds not only light, but looks ...click for details

Uniquely beautiful, this English sterling locket and collar is circa 1870. It is sterling, and is designed to be worn in multiple ways. One side is finely hand engraved and can be worn with or without the locket, and with or without the extension. The same is true of the sleekly designed reverse side. Worn with the locket or without, it is refined and elegant. The proportions and the incredible condition make this a standout from almost all I have seen. The collar measures a substantial 18.5 inch ...click for details

This English Victorian bracelet is circa 1880. It is designed with a realistic strap and buckle motif, so popular during this period of time. It has lovely hand engraving and terminates with a secure concealed push clasp. There are tiny surface scratches and negligible pin point dings on the back surface, all commensurate with age. It measures 1 inch width and 7 inches on the interior. It would accommodate a smaller wrist up to 6.5 inches. Lovely, classical,English, circa 1880.
