Just as lovely as the pictures, this heart is quite spectacular. It is finely hand engraved with vines, leaves, ferns and engraving details typical of this period. Both sides are engraved, with one bearing a central section awaiting initials. It is large, measuring 1 3/8 with the bale, x 1 1/8 across. It has a depth of 3/8ths. This rock crystal Victorian locket is circa 1900. It is English, rendered in 15k and has unusually pretty engraving around the bezel. Most lockets of this type are gold filled or plated, and I am always pleased to find one in gold. The orb measures 3/4 inches and with the bail it is 1 inch long. Each face is different and is done in repousse, finished front and back. I rarely get this form of earring in inventory, but just in from Paris, are these spectacular paste earrings. This very desirable form is a solitaire with a tiny paste accent stone on the top.
