Simply lovely, these earrings are the desirable cushion shaped paste solitaire. Formally cuff buttons, they are now radiant paste earrings with the addition of graceful gold ear wires. The pastes are faceted and foil back, giving the pastes a bright white with hints of honey tones. They were set in hand crimped rub over silver collets, typical of the Georgian period.

This is the first Georgian ring in precious pink topaz I have had the joy to sell. It is 18th century, circa 1760, and English in origin. Designed with classical fluted and arched shoulders, it joins a finely reeded shank. The central element has a foiled back faceted pink topaz, set in a rub over gold collet. Stones at this period of time were closed in the back and foil beneath the stone reflected light and added a rich hue. This ring is Georgian, circa 1790. It has a central foiled back amethyst set in crimped rub over collets. Two collet set, bright mine cut diamonds on either side of the amethyst, are nicely detailed with three tiny gold balls. The diamonds are approximately 8 pts each. This English 15k chain and fob are circa 1840. The chain itself is beautiful, designed with a Celtic motif of interlocking links, terminating with an early swivel bale. The fob, a perfect complement in period and color gold,has been joined to the chain.

These earrings are circa 1800 simply designed with early mine cut diamonds set in crimped rub over collets. The ear wires are a lovely pale rose gold and the rest of the earring is set in silver. The top section is a small flower head set with tiny diamonds in the petals and centered with a small diamond. Impressive and long, these garnet earrings are English, circa 1810. They are designed with foiled back, flat cut garnets, all set in hand crimped settings. The almondine garnets have a rich pink to cranberry color. They are flat cut as was typical of the period and have tiny facets around the perimeter of each stone.
