This very feminine 15k necklace has a long history beginning with the central element. The central motif is a carved emerald surrounded by flat cut diamonds set in silver. This section is circa 1800. The central stone is an emerald carved scarab. It was originally a bead used on a necklace or ornament, then considered valuable enough to be used as the focal point of this drop circa 1800. The reverse of the pendant is finely engraved in gold. There are four pink topaz faceted lozenge shape stones ...click for details

This Georgian gold ring is circa 1790. It has a beautiful central table cut amethyst which is foil backed. Gemstones which were closed in the back were foiled to reflect light. This foiling gives the stone a mellow reddish/purple hue. The diamonds, which have a rub over setting are encased in silver. There are six rose diamonds and a beautiful ribbed shank. The ring measures a 7 1/2 US. It is in excellent, all original condition. This has been well loved for over 300 years.

This 15k Georgian brooch is circa 1820. It has beautiful pale almondine garnets which have been faceted and foiled back. Stones at this period of time were typically closed in the back and the use of foil gave the stones a mellow color which varied shades according to the reflection of light. These garnets are all set in rose gold crimped, cut-down collets. The reverse is finely done with curved gold surrounding each stone, and all original mounts. It measures 1 3/8 x 1 3/8. There is a small din ...click for details

This 15k Georgian brooch is circa 1800. It has beautiful well matched faceted citrines set in gold crimped cut-down settings typical of the period. The stones are closed back and foiled giving the citrines a warm honey color with glints of pale rose overtones. The brooch measures 2 inches x 1 7/8ths. It is completely original and in excellent condition. This is one of the most beautiful Georgian brooches I have offered for sale and has a classical, timeless design.
