These sterling earrings are English, circa 1880. They are beautiful and simply designed which is most difficult to find in Victorian jewelry since most were ornate and engraved. These have simple orbs that articulate within a sphere . The sphere has tiny cannonball accents typical of the period. The reverse reveals all original tops and silver ear wires. The orbs have a tiny hole in the back which is NOT a defect, but was used to release air during the manufacturing process. ...click for details

These earrings are circa 1910, and are designed with cascading leaves and flowers terminating in a faceted lemon paste citrine. The citrines are set in hand crimped cut down collets. The pastes are clear and bright, and the earrings are in excellent condition. New gold ear wires have replaced the originals. Very beautiful 19th century French figural bee brooch. It has well cut rose diamonds adorning the wings and head, and a tiger's eye realistically simulating the body. The diamonds glitter with life and are set in finely millegrained silver topped gold. A French eagle's head is on the pin stem which is a guarantee for 18k.

This adorable turtle is circa 1850. Designed with a shell of hexagonal faceted and polished steel that was riveted in place. The legs, head and tail are set with smaller round and oblong sections.
