In her frequent visits to Balmoral Castle, the children were dressed in tartans. She herself wore the beautiful pieces of jewelry designed to adorn the clothing. This Scottish agate silver bracelet is Victorian, circa 1860. It has an unusual design utilizing beautifully chosen agates joined with silver links. The links are skillfully engraved, matching the central buckle motif. The bracelet, designed as a buckle/strap adjusts to accommodate various wrist sizes. There is a plunger on the buckle which when lifted opens the bracelet, and when pressed locks it in place. These antique ivory earrings are hand carved and circa 1920. They are long and dramatic measuring 2 5/8 inches long from the top of the wire x 5/8 inches wide. They are undoubtedly Chinese,completely hand carved and very detailed. The condition is excellent. They would be incredibly beautiful with Victorian ivory beads or bracelets.

This matched brooch and silver earrings set is circa 1830. Quite a treasure to find housed in an original box in mint condition, they are Continental in origin. A silversmith spent hours utilizing tiny fine spirals of silver which were twisted and worked into patterns appearing like fine embroidery. This beautiful French link bracelet, circa 1890 is designed with interlocking links accented with textured detailing. The bracelet has a hollow ball that has repousse work as well as hand engraving. The links are 5/8 inches wide x 3/4 inches long. The bracelet is 8 1/4 inches long and is secured with a spring clasp. It has French assay marks,is beautiful and in excellent condition.

Lovely Victorian silver earrings circa 1880. These earrings are classical in design with fine detailing. They measure 1 1/4 inches long from the top of the wire x 3/4 inches wide. The two tiny holes seen on the reverse are found on Victorian hollow pieces of jewelry. It allowed for the escape of air during the manufacturing process. The condition is excellent.

These Victorian earrings are circa 1860.They are Gutta Percha and 15k gold. The earrings are dramatic,original and in excellent condition. The ear wires are new, b. Unusual to find gutta percha, an early resin, to be mixed with gold. The gold work is superior as is the hand engraving. They measure a bold 2 1/8 inches from the top of the wire x 3/4 across. They have perfect geometry,scale and movement. The color is a mellow,dark brown.
