This Victorian, Scottish brooch is circa 1860. The form is rare and and quite intricate. The laborious work of a lapidary created a braid, or weaving done with agates. The departure from traditional Scottish forms are always the rarest to find. This particular form appears similar to a Scottish quaiche, or drinking vessel. The colors are vibrant and well chosen. This bracelet is Victorian, circa 1860. It is Scottish, Celtic jewelry, and is designed with beautifully matched Montrose gray agates set in bold, highly engraved settings. Each link is a work of art, curved silver skillfully hand engraved, and inlaid with striated gray agates. This 15k Georgian garnet brooch is circa 1820. It is rarer in form having a beautiful vitreous enamel panel topped with a gold collet set garnet. The perimeter of the brooch has foiled back flat cut garnets with faceted edges. The garnets are almondine with a beautiful hue, and set in hand crimped gold mounts. These very dramatic earrings are French, circa 1890. The are designed with faceted rock crystals all set in silver, beautifully detailed prong set mounts. They terminate in silver torpedo shaped drops. The earrings measure 1 3/4 inches long from the top of the wire x 3/4 inches across.
