These Victorian earrings are circa 1860.They are Gutta Percha and 15k gold. The earrings are dramatic,original and in excellent condition. The ear wires are new, b. Unusual to find gutta percha, an early resin, to be mixed with gold. The gold work is superior as is the hand engraving. They measure a bold 2 1/8 inches from the top of the wire x 3/4 across. They have perfect geometry,scale and movement. The color is a mellow,dark brown.

This Scottish agate brooch is circa 1860. Most Victorian, Scottish brooches had celtic motifs used for the tartans, and fewer were designed as figurals. This leaf is cleverly designed with all perfectly matched moss agates. There are three agates,each perfectly cut,inlaid and matched for color. The result was simple, elegant and lovely. The condition is excellent, and it is all original including the steel pinstem. It measures 2 1/4 inches down x 1 3/4 inches across.

This is a stunning early 19th century cut steel and pearl bracelet. It is rare to find, especially in this condition. Not to be confused with modern marcasite, this is quite different, and set with finely faceted steel heads, polished to create a lovely hue and sparkle of light. This Scottish,agate brooch is circa 1860. It is set with a glorious combination of agates including Montrose gray,moss,mustard and salmon colors. The design too is rare as it is not a celtic motif, but an artistic design. The moss agates are inlaid and the others cut encabachon. These lovely earrings are Georgian, circa 1800. They are designed with a flower head motif utilizing paste stones that are foiled back and set in fine rub over,hand crimped settings. The paste stones are clear and bright with black dots to simulate the culets of a diamond. Black dot is indicative of early, superior quality paste jewelry.
