These antique French garnet earrings are circa 1890. They are Perpignon garnets from the region in France that they are made. Unlike Bohemian garnets so popular at this same period, these have a beautiful mellow color. The cut too, is distinctive as the facets are cut across the entire curving surface, not the typical raised rose cut. The garnets form a flower cluster and each petal has a slightly different hue, created by foil placed beneath the stone. Each garnet is set in cut down gold coll ...click for details

This gold moonstone bracelet is Edwardian, circa 1910. It is designed with eleven beautiful cabachon blue moonstones which are bezel set in 9k gold, and terminate with decorative links. The focus is on the beauty of the stones, rather than intricate gold work. The stones exhibit adularescence, the desirable sheen that crosses the surface when light passes through the stone. The stones are clear and blue and in excellent condition. The bracelet is entirely original and typically Edwardian in desi ...click for details

This Victorian locket has two sided heart shaped rock crystals set in gold bezels. The top of this lovely locket has a swivel that unscrews enabling the insertion of a single, or double photo. I personally prefer it worn as seen, with just the clear crystals. It has English hallmarks on the bezel with a mark of 375(9k, manufactured in Birmingham, and is circa 1900.It measures slightly less than 1 3/8 inches from the top of the swivel ring X 1 inch across. It is joined with a fine 14k long gold ...click for details

These long, Victorian, dramatic earrings are English, circa 1860. They are designed with well match banded agates with a desirable dark brown, black and white combination. The agates have been hollowed, as was customary to lighten the weight of the stone and they are delightful on the ear. When worn, the stones have a mellow translucent quality, as they were not closed in gold in the backs. The bezels are substantial and the proportions graceful. The earrings are 15k and the gold retains the or ...click for details

This Victorian, French sterling bracelet is circa 1890. I is designed with chunky silver links that alternate smooth and textured links and terminate with a large ball. It falls beautifully on the wrist and is connected as it traditionally was, by a spring ring. It is in excellent condition and retains the French guarantee stamps for sterling. It measures a sizeable 8 1/4 inches long and can accommodate a larger wrist. The patina is original and lovely. French, circa 1890
